On October 30, 2018, the 11th Annual meeting of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering Non-Destructive Testing Branch and the third Hundred People Award Conference was held in Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center International Hotel. Chairman and general manager Wei Zhongrui participated in the conference, and was elected the eleventh executive director, won the "outstanding contribution award".

This annual meeting coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the China Society for Nondestructive Testing, from the world Society for Nondestructive testing and the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea and other countries to congratulate the society.

According to the agenda, Shen Gongtian, chairman of the society, announced the list of the new council, and Wei Zhongrui, general manager of the chairman of the company, was elected executive director. The new council consists of 138 people, including 1 chairman, 1 executive vice chairman, 11 deputy chairmen, and 53 standing members.

The conference held the third "100 People Award" award ceremony for 100 experts and scholars who have made outstanding contributions to the non-destructive testing industry, Geng Rongsheng, Xia Jizhen and other 7 people won the "Lifetime Achievement Award", Shen Gongtian, Wei Zhongrui and other 9 people won the "Outstanding contribution award", Dai Guang and other 28 people won the special contribution award, Sun Dan and other 56 people won the "excellent worker".
